The CoinTracker story
Making crypto make sense
CoinTracker was founded in 2017 by Jon Lerner and Chandan Lodha, who saw mainstream crypto adoption held back by the tax and accounting mess of everyday crypto activity. In 2018 they were accepted into Y Combinator, and CoinTracker went on to become the gold standard for crypto tracking and taxes.

The Nino story
The idea our founder waited twelve years to build
Back in 2014, YC passed on a personal-assistant idea Jon pitched, called Nino. It was too early, they said. He left TextNow to go deep on AI, comparing notes with people shaping the field (Ilya Sutskever among them, before OpenAI existed), but the technology wasn't ready. By 2017 he and Chandan had narrowed the idea down to money, and realized they first had to untangle crypto's taxes and accounting. That became CoinTracker.
Twelve years later, AI can finally be the agent he imagined. Nino is live in beta today: a dedicated CFP and CPA, backed by software that connects your taxes, equity, investments, cash, and real estate into one plan that stays current.
